Floortje Groendijk (admitted to the Bar in 2008) mainly handles economic criminal cases, including environmental criminal cases and criminal cases resulting from work-related accidents. She also assists hospitals, care facilities and their staff, who are either suspect or witness in medical criminal cases. Furthermore, she assists investigating officers in officer-involved shootings and other incidents. In addition, she handles general criminal cases.
Aside from her litigation practice, she regularly advises companies on administrative matters running parallel with criminal investigations. She also audits companies looking to get an insight into the possible criminal risks of their operations.
Education and career
In 2008, Floortje graduated from Leiden University in Dutch Law, with a Master’s in Public International Law. She joined our firm in October 2008 and works from our offices in Rotterdam.
