Financial and Economic Criminal Law Programme
This autumn, the Free University of Amsterdam offers a post-graduate programme in Financial and Economic Criminal Law. Our partner Enide Perez, together with our associate Erik Witjens, will teach on the aspects of criminal procedure that play a pre-eminent part in this field of law. These include for example the investigative powers and coercive measure that suspects - often companies - can be exposed to in this field of law, and how they can defend themselves against this. They will also focus on the transition from administrative to criminal investigation which is often unclear to companies and on the rights and duties involved in the various stages of investigation.
The programme is designed for lawyers with several years of relevant experience who want to (further) specialize in this field. The teachers involved in this programme are leading and experienced professional practice lawyers and scientists who have a thorough knowledge of the subject matter. The programme consists of ten sessions and starts on September 16th, 2016.
